About

Deepti Kohli is an economist whose research focuses on political economy, lobbying, and public policy outcomes. She has previously published studies on environmental regulations and global trade patterns. Currently, her work centers on applying game theory to strategic decision-making in business contexts, as well as exploring topics related to climate finance. Prior to joining FMS, she worked as an Assistant Professor in Swami Shraddhanand College, Delhi University and taught various economics courses to undergraduate students for about nine years.

  • 1. ● Presented a paper titled “Impact of Electoral Competition, Swing Voters and Interest Groups on Equilibrium Policy Platforms: Exploring the Strategic Forces at Work”, at the 18th LAGV conference in Public Economics, held in Aix-en-Provence in France on June 13-14, 2019.
  • 2. ● Presented a paper titled “Politics of Demonetization and Impact of Demonetization on People” at the UGC Sponsored National Seminar on Demonetization: Its Economic and Political Implications in India held on 29th to 30th April 2019 at the Department of Economics, Swami Shraddhanand College, University of Delhi, India.
  • 3. ● Participated in a two-day International Conference on India’s Energy Security: Interregional Cooperation to Energy Security Society held on 19th-20th March 2019 at the Centre for South Asian Studies & Energy Studies Programme, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-110067. Co-authored the paper titled “Energy Efficiency and Clean Energy Transitions in India: What Do These Mean for Climate Change Mitigation?” with Professor Meeta Keswani Mehra, which was presented at the above mentioned conference.
  • 4. ● Paper titled “Electoral Competition, Lobby Formation and Equilibrium Policies” presented at the 22nd Annual Conference of the Indian Political Economy Association (IPEA) held on 14-15th December 2018 at the Department of Economics, University of Jammu, India.
