Dr. Mahima Thakur

About

Dr. Mahima Thakur is a professor at the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) at Delhi University. She joined FMS in 2010 and teaches courses in Organizational Behaviour, Change and Intervention Strategies, Business Communication, Industrial Relations, and Leadership. Her academic background is impressive, with a PhD in Psychology from IIT Delhi, where she also served as a consultant psychologist. Sh has travelled to many international Universities like Stanford University, Columbia University, Cambridge, Oxford, Cornell, Deakins, Australia, Paris, Copenhagen Business school etc to present her research. Additionally, she was nominated for a course in Executive Education program at Harvard Business School, Boston, US, which she attended in 2013 and 2015¹ ³. Dr. Thakur's research interests include Change Management, Mergers & Acquisitions Empowerment, Leadership, Industrial Relations and diversity management. She’s been on the Board of governors of many colleges and Universities as the UGC nominee. She has been a part of the AICTE core team that has designed the course curriculum for management courses. She also a national-level basketball and tennis player, representing her state and university in various tournaments. Last but not the least - she is an army BRAT!
